Vox & Safari 3: A Match Made In Heaven

Comments

man, safari3 screwed up my adium big time. I heard it's still buggy and we should wait for the final release, so I uninstalled it and put the old one back. I have yet to find a decent browser on mac for my relatively few needs... firefox seemed great but it randomly shuts down and stops responding sometimes, and other times just goes slow.. camino has a lot of bugs esp. on vox and besides lots of websites dont support it. and safari can't open _blank links in a new tab. my biggest. pet. peeve. ever.

anyway, sorry lol random stranger comment
[this is good]
no, comment away.

there's been a couple safari 3 updates since WWDC, but even at 3.0 it hasn't jacked my adium up. what was it doing if I might ask?
well it just fudged up my growl. instead of getting notifications about my friends, I was getting blank boxes! uninstalled s3... problem's gone.

oh, and livejournal was all warped on s3 too!
odd. my growls been dandy throughout. you should give it a shot again. working and vox is reason enough, but throw in the fancy new inline find feature and how can you resist?
well, if it still opens _blank links in new windows instead of new tabs, then I'll hang on to my farty firefox until they give me that option!!
you could always give Safari Stand a shot (http://hetima.com/safari/stand-e.html) but I don't know if adding plugins is your thing or not.
I could... and I have nothing against extensions but it just seems too heavy to download all that for one little feature. It should be included like it is in camino!
sigh... unfortunately Apple's arrogance gets in the way of innovation sometimes
