With the release of Leopard (the new Mac OS, for those non techy types) came a bunch of new features. One that I'm growing to like is the ability to read RSS feeds inside Mail.app. The only problem with using it this way is that it's not as easy to navigate as something like NetNewsWire. You have to manually click on specific feeds to read the particular articles instead of having a nice view of all unread articles. Well here is how to get back that control over your feeds.
Finally, thanks to a beta version of their next build, I can kiss the klunky "Windows taking over my screen" problem goodbye. The new build includes a great feature called Coherence mode that hides everything but the applications and the start bar. A simple check in the auto-hide box made the start bar disappear and now I'm left with a very visually pleasing way to use the TWO windows apps that are tying me down to the platform for the foreseeable future.
